Extremely comfy beds, coffee and a lounge in the room. Good food at breakfast served in the lounge area. Easy to get to, quiet location close to lovely gardens in the rolling countryside close to the seaside town of Weymouth, the grounds overlooking the beautiful gardens, and tourist attractions.

Getting out of Friar Waddon Road was quite awkward due to poor visibility for oncoming traffic. While the bath was deep and good, the height made it challenging for shorter legs to get in and out comfortably. While the setting was lovely, the location required some patience in navigation.

great stay but a bit noisy
The room where we stayed was bright, spacious, and wonderfully appointed for comfort. Breakfast was really good, with a wide range of choices with high-quality ingredients cooked to order. The garden view from the dining room added an extra touch of serenity.
The noise from nearby traffic occasionally disturbed our peace.

A true gem for a peaceful getaway
During our 2-night stay, we felt completely at home. The room was bright, spacious, and so well appointed, we immediately relaxed. The ensuite had both a claw-foot tub and a separate shower, a good touch. Breakfast was a highlight, served with a great selection and cooked to order, all while overlooking the lovely garden. While the experience was almost perfect, I would have preferred a communal dining arrangement for more interaction with other guests.

The King Room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a lovely claw-foot bathtub alongside a rain shower. Delicious breakfast options, including fresh fruit and a full English, fueled our days. The beautifully maintained gardens were a highlight, adding charm to the peaceful surroundings.

Review for Pump Cottage, Weymouth
Everything was perfect, and the personnel was very welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the meal with excellent coffee. The location is beautiful and secluded, right by a quiet valley where we even saw deer. The large rear garden is a lovely feature, and there are several good eating places nearby.
